Reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which cause climate change.
Conserve biodiversity and ecological connectivity through jaguar corridors.
Improve the quality of life for rural communities in areas influenced by forest projects.
Raise awareness about environmental issues through education, outreach, and culture.
Fundación Biodiversa began with conservation projects for birds like paujiles, river turtles, and primates. Their years of effort caring for flora and fauna have earned recognition from multiple organizations that trust their ongoing work in Yondó.
Thanks to this trust, they have secured funding to purchase land, which allows them to implement more actions focused not only on forest conservation but also on engaging communities to generate benefits and new opportunities.
During the 2025 season, 80 guardians from four communities led by the Asociación Curuinsi Huasi protected key Amazon River turtle nesting beaches on the Colombia-Peru border. Thanks to their collective efforts, they protected 67 mother turtles, 58 nests, and about 1,540 hatchlings of threatened species, strengthening conservation and ensuring these species remain part of the Amazon territory.
Since the program began, around 150 guardians from six communities have protected 1,641 mothers, 1,426 nests, and more than 35,600 hatchlings, while environmental education processes with local schools and the new Bawetá Interpretation Center (Charapa Museum) have been developed to train the guardians of tomorrow
The 3% of the value of each Amazonía Series product is used to fund conservation projects in the Colombian Amazon, led by expert organizations like Fundación Biodiversa and Conexión Jaguar – ISA.
Currently, the funds are allocated to a project led by Fundación Biodiversa for the conservation of turtles in the Magdalena Medio, a key region of the Amazon ecosystem. This initiative aims to educate communities, reduce illegal turtle trafficking, and create conditions for their reproduction and growth, helping to balance the ecosystem.
No individual donation certificate is issued, as the 3% contribution is made collectively by the company as part of a collective impact model. This allows resources to be channeled more efficiently and continuously toward real conservation projects, ensuring that every purchase — without additional paperwork — contributes directly to caring for the Colombian Amazon.
